And this is me

I don't look this smooth in the flesh.

My name is Louise Brown (no, not that one) and I’m a freelance digital creative person (don’t make me say the c* word). I’m currently working part time at digital content and parenting with the rest of my time for a rapidly expanding family. I’d be delighted to hear from you via this blog, Twitter or LinkedIn if you think it would be interesting to work together, you want or can give me some advice, or you just have something to get off your chest.

I started working in digital media nearly twenty years ago and have worked on some amazing projects and for some fantastic companies including Microsoft and Channel 4. My areas of expertise are how to deliver digital content projects, how to run creative teams and generally how to get good work done.

This blog, however, is largely nonsense – please take it as a reflection of my personal priorities: 1) a general purpose for good and 2) having a laugh whatever I’m doing.

Oh yeah, and that Iris Murdoch quote at the top was originally (we’re talking 2006, I may have still being wearing legwarmers from the first time round) a semi-ironic comment on the self-obsessed nature of the world of blogging and was made by a character in one of Murdoch’s novels.
